Coaching Team

Cameron Bhamra

Cam will take charge of the Second XI for the 2023/24 season. A valued member of the coaching team, Cam is himself an ex-Durham student. Having secured the league title last season with the Men's Second XI, he will be leading the lads as they embark on their Northern Tier 2 campaign.

Chris Maiello

As well as coaching for Newcastle United Foundation, Chris is our Third XI coach. Before his spell with the university, Chris had previously worked with, our now partner club, Durham United FC. In the 2021/22 season Chris led a fantastic campaign as the Third XI made their highest finish ever.

Robbie Pringle

Robbie is a highly valued member of the first team as a head coach and many will remark about his enthusiasm if not his infectious smile. His wisdom helped to inspire the M1s to national championship success in 2023. Away from DUAFC, Robbie is a coach developer for the FA.

Ellie Christon

In her time away from Durham Women's FC and their Women's Championship campaign, Ellie coaches the Women's First XI, as well as taking charge of the S&C  for both the Men's and Women's First XI. Before this, Ellie was a successful member of DUAFC Women's as a student.

Ella Beecham

Ella is a true Durham development.

Starting out her time at the university as a player and going into coaching after a third ACL injury. From coaching grassroots all the way to bringing the Women's Third XI to their best ever finish and a promotion in the 21/22 season Ella will lead the Women's Second XI to great success.

Freddie Willis-Bund

Freddie is the newest addition to our coaching team. Last year he led his college team to a Women's Floodlit Cup victory and this year he has decided to develop further as a coach. He will manage the Women's Third XI alongside Cam.
